Superior quality products
Plainsman Mfg. Inc. is a manufacturing and distribution company operating out of Edmonton, Alberta since 1966. We manufacture and distribute products for oilfield production, pipeline maintenance, construction, and gas and water distribution.
Our Facility
We have 16,000 sq feet of warehouse assembly and storage along with 18,000 sq feet of machining space. Our facility allows us to not only provide machining and assembly but allows us to house our clients' inventory if they do not have the required space.

Derek Duncombe
Derek is the president of Plainsman Mfg and has been with the company since 1994. He is committed to driving the continued growth and excellence of Plainsman by always improving our manufacturing techniques and making sound financial decisions.
Mike Kittlitz
A Marketing graduate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Mike strives to develop business through his network, ability to develop rapport quickly and his experience at Plainsman in varying roles. His progression from Inside Sales representative in 2001 to Purchasing Manager, General Manager, Sales Manager and finally his current role allows him to have an in depth knowledge of how Plainsman can succeed from every angle.
Thomas Makelki
A graduate form University of British Columbia Okanagan with a BCOMM degree and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with an Instrumentation Technologist diploma Thomas is focused on international sales and growing Plainsman outside of its domestic Canadian market. Some of the international markets he focuses on include: Australia, the Middle East, Mexico, Colombia and the USA.
Miguel Rodrigues
Miguel Rodrigues has been passionate about machines for as long as he can remember, finding deep satisfaction in mechanical design and engineering. A graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario (2001), he has dedicated his career to refining his expertise in manufacturing and mechanical innovation.
Matt Vincent
Matt has over 20 years management experience. While attending the University of Arizona he studied materials science before moving back to industry. Since then, he has completed a Supply Management diploma and Management Development certificate from the University of Alberta. His approach to most problems is to apply creativity while keeping it simple.
